Job Description

As an Automotive Equipment Sales & Service Manager, you would be responsible for the sales, installation, and service of automotive service equipment to key automotive OEMs.  Regular engagement with select OEMs is critical to identifying and completing the sale and installation of service equipment, for a multitude of equipment manufacturers/suppliers.  Bosch provides service programs for these OEMs.  Currently, we manage the repair and maintenance of automotive equipment located at service centers across North America.  As the Automotive Equipment Sales & Service Manager, you will manage and execute key steps of the repair and maintenance process for the various types of equipment at each location.

Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • The development and execution of a business plan to support servicing of customer owned capital equipment and the sales and installation of new capital equipment.
  • Being a central point of contact for customer Regional Workplace Operations and Service Readiness departments. 
  • Attending weekly status calls with customer, manage Bosch updates
  • Managing supply base product delivery to meet launch requirements
  • Establishing and managing distributor/installer relationships
  • Managing the KPI’s and SLA's agreed upon metrics 
  • Coordinating equipment servicing activity through customer generated work orders
  • Being the central point of contact for all RFQ's

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical field, business, or related discipline required
  • Effective communicator
  • Good organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with service ticket management software (FEXA, Service Channel or related)
  • Working knowledge of automotive shop equipment service business
  • Extensive automotive service background in the tool and equipment industry
  • Experience with Equipment Programs through direct sales or dealership utilization
  • Project management experience required
  • Sales background with aptitude for detail and report management
  • Dealer and/or OEM relationship development experience
