Job Description

We are looking for someone with native English language knowledge and someone, who has experience working in an agency environment, creating conceptually driven campaigns on global brands. Digital advertising experience is a plus!

The Copywriter is responsible for developing concepts and crafting copy in English for digital toolkits (primarily paid social media campaigns).

The Copywriter would be responsible for the delivery of copy that:

  • Aids acquisition of new users via retargeting through paid media
  • Delivers value and drives engagement through email campaigns 
  • It is their responsibility to take insights gained from data about which assets perform best and to use those learnings in developing the next round of ideas. Other responsibilities include:
  • Building and executing creative concepts with an art director partner. 
  • Working independently on “copy only” projects.
  • Writing in perfect English–– accurately, consistently; ready to be used in native English-speaking markets.
  • Being able to juggle multiple projects, prioritize, and meet deadlines
  • Being able to write using the client’s TOV and style guidelines.
  • Presenting own work in a clear and logical manner both in-house as well as to the client.
  • Investigating industry best-practices and new possibilities on Social media Channels
  • Takes part regularly in opportunity briefs, stretches their creative abilities consistently

Qualifications

The Copywriter should be mid-level (3+ years) with a proven track record in concept generation. They should have a clear understanding of the difference between a communication concept and an executional idea. They should be a hands-on writer who feels at home in a fast-paced, Agile environment.

Ideally the Copywriter should have:

  • Portfolio that showcases top-notch samples of copywriting
  • Strong organizational skills, business-orientated
  • Digitally savvy, with some significant experience writing copy for: websites / apps / social media
  • Excellent English skills, both written and verbal. Comfortable working with a team of native English-speaking copywriters
  • Able to collaborate with copywriters from various fields - from concept-based social media advertising through data-driven promotions and in-app microcopy
  • Comfortable using an ever-changing roster of new digital tools to enhance communication process and quality
  • Strong attention to detail and a hunger to innovate
  • Familiar with social media platforms and trends
  • Understands usability and user-centred design practices
