The Bosch unit in Aveiro belongs to the Thermotechnology division and manages the global business unit of residential water. About 1,300 associates are responsible for the development, production and marketing of innovative solutions that make homes smarter, more efficient and environment friendly. In the Research and Development Center of Bosch Thermotechnology in Aveiro, more than 200 engineers contribute to making homes and cities more intelligent and efficient by developing solutions for Bosch business units and divisions around the globe. Your contribution to something big:

You will be part of the worldwide Bosch TT architecture team, with many domains and diverse topics. You will be responsible for:

• API strategy and governance over Bosch TT worldwide;
• Design, develop and operate a product master data API (and other components) to be used worldwide;
• Use strategies and technologies from both on-premise and cloud scenarios;
• Use state-of-the-art authentication and authorization concepts;
• Have security standards and principles in mind and work with a zero trust security model;
• Build reusable components having streaming as well as RESTful endpoints in mind;
• Work with highly-scalable, highly-available, and high-performant components with high data dissemination scenarios;
• Use standard API documentation mechanisms as well as architecture documentation.

What distinguishes you:

• Experience in programming in C# / .NET or Java / JavaEE;
• Experience building modern microservices and web applications;
• Familiar with API standards, web security standards, and best practices;
• Goal orientation, quality awareness, creativity and initiative;
• Good communication skills in English (C1 minimum).
