Job Description

Work as a member of our Azure monitoring team responding to alerts, helping clients with issues, and helping to improve our monitoring platform.

 

Duties

  • Triage incoming alerts and tickets for multiple clients
  • Resolve client issues, primarily related to Azure infrastructure and Windows VMs
  • Review and diagnose security-related alerts
  • Clearly document issues, work performed, and resolutions through the ticketing system
  • Assist clients with Office 365 issues
  • Help manage the monitoring platform, including reviewing and tuning alerts; adding and removing systems; and improving our overall usage of it
  • Help improve internal tools, processes, and procedures
  • Consistently review and improve client documentation
  • Assist with onboarding new customers to managed services and the monitoring platform

 

Qualifications

  • 6+ months of Azure infrastructure management experience
  • 2+ years of Windows Server management experience, including deployment of new servers, Active Directory management, etc.
  • Some Azure AD and Office 365 knowledge
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts
  • Experience with Azure Log Analytics, including writing and running queries

Additional Desired Skills (not required)

  • Azure Certified Administrator certification
  • PowerShell or general automation experience
  • High-level familiarity with other Azure services (App Services, Azure SQL, etc.)
  • Experience working in a managed service support/engineering role supporting multiple customers or organizations
  • Basic Linux OS management experience
  • Experience with Azure DevOps or a general understanding of DevOps processes
