Job Description

West coast representation for Pacific Time Zone, Mountain Time Zone coverage.  Early Career Candidates Welcomed.

As a Robotics Customer Support Specialist with Locus Robotics you will be responsible for handling support requests from our business partners and onsite deployment staff. In this critical frontline service, you represent Locus to our U.S. based customers. This is a remarkable opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a robotics startup with a great product, and a growing team dedicated to the support and success of our customers. The successful candidate for this role will have a passion for helping people, a love of continuous learning and experience in providing technical support to non-technical people in a professional environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Triage and resolve technical support issues relating to all aspects of our products in chat, e-mail and phone consultations.
  • Work with engineering staff on difficult to resolve technical issues.
  • Actively and continuously update technical skills.
  • Available to support PST and MST time zones, with a commitment to provide on-call coverage on a rotating team schedule.  Rotating schedule includes evening hours.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Help Desk, Technical Support or Customer Support role
  • Remote support, full training, rotating coverage
  • Perform multiple tasks concurrently and respond to emergency situations effectively.
  • Ability to communicate technical/complex information both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and gather information on technical issues and escalate to appropriate internal teams following defined processes
  • Strong written and verbal customer service communication skills
  • Experience managing Windows environments
  • AS or BS in Robotics, IT, CS, EE a plus, early career or new grads welcomed
