Job Description

The Service Delivery Director will work closely with the VP of Security Engineering to ensure the successful execution of services provided to the broader Experian organization. The Service Delivery Manager is responsible for implementing IT Security initiatives that drive operational effectiveness and efficiencies. Experian is looking for a person that has a good balance of technical knowledge in fields like networking, server administration, and information security with a background in service management in large enterprises.

The Service Management Director must understand information security risk and how to map the mitigation of risk activities or capabilities to the services provided by the Security Engineering organization.

 

Duties:

  • Manage relationships with business units and other internal customers (communications, change control items).
  • Manage activities driven from control testing and effectiveness testing to improve the security control posture.
  • Manage service lifecycle of controls to ensure consistent ORV, health, and monitoring, and decommission processes are followed
  • Assist Operational Directors with priority incident management (ensuring all incidents are within defined SLOs and meet SLAs)
  • Develop and maintain a service management framework that provides the healthy delivery of service.
  • Assist in the management of service delivery channels to ensure projects meet defined program/strategic goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Security, Computer Science or equivalent; or comparable work experience.
  • Must have a security certification such as CISSP, CISA, CISM.
  • Minimum of three to five (3-5) years with direct supervision responsibilities in a supervisory/assistant manager capacity.
  • A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in IT project delivery within financial services is required.
  • Experience interfacing with other internal or external organizations regarding failure and incident response situations.
  • 5+ years of experience in security incident handling support activities, including knowledge of common probing and attack methods, network/service discovery, system assessment, viruses, and other malware forms.
  • Knowledge of hacker methodologies and tactics, system vulnerabilities, and key indicators of attacks and exploits.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical skills to define risk, identify potential threats, and develop action/mitigation plans.
  • Ability to manage expectations with multiple stakeholders on projects and programs in conjunction with the information security team.
  • They must have demonstrated personal integrity, professionally handle confidential matters and exhibit the appropriate level of judgment commensurate with the position and responsibilities.
