Senior DWH Architect & Tech Lead /Snowflake, Azure SQL/

This is remote, 100% FTE position, freelancing mode of cooperation, contract with Devoteam, start ASAP/in July 2021, till the end of the 2021, prolongation possible, Czech Republic/Prague or Germany/Berlin location accessibility is very much your advantage

What can be here for you? 

• You will perform a critical mission in respect to our clients´ data strategy.

• You will be the key person to advise, consult and cooperate with global stakeholders, data team, developers and business leaders to reach the defined goals and objetives.

Your daily activities can be like: 

You will define the meta-model of the data, integrating the existing databases. 

You will plan an end-to-end model for data consumption and analysis.

You will be responsible for the implementation of the designed solution.

You will monitor databases / data warehouse and report on their effectiveness and  accuracy, updating as necessary.

You will support platform security standards and ensure system security. 

You will define the rules for aggregating data to group and organize them.

You will design and implement changes in norms and standards (data 

 dictionary, data models, etc.)

You will support data platform capability road map and define the operating model /monitoring, support, SLA/

You will ensure integrity of the release, and support software applications deployment activities and subsequent potential  troubleshooting.

Who are we looking for? 

• We would consider candidates with the senior, expert technical knowledge within DWH/Data platforms, Databases architecture and solutions. 

• We are looking for a candidate with very good technical understanding  and experience of DWH architecture, Snowflake platform, DWH solutions implementations at global scope.

• Here, the technical knowledge and experience regarding Snowflake platform ecosystem, AZURE SQL, PostgreSQL will make it easier for you to support and influence respective teams and be able to advise them. 

• This role is suitable for a person, with a structured approach, excellent analytical, technical  and communication skills and consulting and cooperation abilities.

• The English language is the official communication language but any other languages and multicultural environment experience are very much welcome. 

• You definitely will need a sense of ownership in your performance and are willing to impact the company’s success.
