A unique opportunity has become available for a seasoned business development /sales professional to join our small but growing EMEA sales team based in London.
This role is pivotal for Damstra's success as you will be a key player helping the business grow, by identifying new business leads & opportunities across the UK, European and African markets. Globally we have customers in industries such as construction, manufacturing, logistics and mining. Your purpose is to develop leads into business opportunities, managing the sales process and closing the deal.
This is a standalone role, so to be successful you need to be pro-active, autonomous, driven, and a great relationship builder. You will drive initiatives to penetrate new markets and customer activations to help the business achieve desired sales growth and to increase revenue streams, brand loyalty, and customer satisfaction.
You will be tenacious, creative and actively network, hunt and develop market intelligence. You are someone who is energised by presenting our offering to prospects and seeing our success grow.
You will be rewarded through a generous commission structure where you can earn up to an additional annual salary in commission.
Key Responsibilities
Creating/developing “warm” leads for Sales conversion in the countries and regions named above as well as setting introduction meetings
Researching identified sectors and markets for potential marketing and sales activity
Working with the Damstra Team to identify potential case studies/white papers
Run campaigns that stimulate interest in Damstra Technologies products and services through email, LinkedIn, mail, digital marketing and through partners and affiliates.
Maintain and update databases such as Pardot, Salesforce.com and SalesLoft, and collaborate with marketing on content, digital marketing and webinars.
You are passionate about business development in a highly competitive market. Your ability to open doors and find opportunities and remain resilient when faced with setbacks, is essential for you to succeed in this role.
Previous experience in a business development or sales capacity from a technology business, and ideally from a SaaS background company in enterprise sales is preferable. A solid understanding of our key customer segments is also highly regarded.
A confident manner, customer focus, ability to be self-managing and outcome focused are the soft skills required for the role. Experience with Salesforce, Zendesk and Office 365 is an advantage.
Your success will be measured through revenue opportunities and new customers engagement.
