Job description:
The Project Manager will be part of Delivery Operations Management at Evolution and is expected to efficiently execute cross-functional, multi-site projects within a agreed budget and timelines. Construction projects are usually aimed at the development of existing Evolution studios as well as the development of new ones. 

As a Project Manager, your role is to design and execute the commercial building of multiple gaming studios and field offices across North America, interfacing with 8-9 teams (internal/external – IT, Legal, Compliance and Vendor teams and Evolution global stakeholders) in our Property Mgt/Studio Operations group. The Project Manager manages complex projects (i.e. 20+ involved people, 100K+ budgets, 1 week and up to 18 months' timelines). The role requires the ability to work independently while being 100% aligned with other concurrent projects run by the department. 

As a Project Manager of live studio construction/reconstruction builds (including setting plans, organizing HVAC/electrical/F&S resources, resolve challenging requirements), you will run meetings throughout the life cycle of the project (including partnering with IT teams who support server, network and Live game implementation). Lead multiple deployment processes and partner with tech teams and oversee change management requests on studio builds through to “Go Live”. Travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and implementation of a project
  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables
  • Develop full-scale project plans
  • Manage project budget and project resource allocation
  • Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
  • Plan and assure quality assurance for project deliverables
  • Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
  • To organize communication with third parties participating in the project.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Technical or Business Administration or Engineering; Masters degree preferred
  • 3+ years’ experience in construction Project Management using JIRA, AGILE, Waterfall or hybrid methodologies
  • 3+ years in leading cross-functional teams and projects, including HVAC, electrical, F&S, millwork vendor management, IT Operations, and/or Legal
  • 1+ yrs commercial video studio development, a plus
  • Previous experience in construction project management and budgeting preferred
  • Certification in PMP, PRINCE 2, or other equivalent PM certificate a plus
  • Excellent administration skills including management of project artifacts and their traceability
  • Excellent organizational, verbal and written skills
  • Ability and passion to work in a hyperdynamic work environment where priorities often change
