Menswear Fashion Journalist Internship

The Style Journalist interns will cover all men's grooming and style-related content that identifies with and relates to Man Of The Hour's target demographic. 

The candidate must have a deep interest in fashion, especially as it relates to menswear.

The candidate must possess an aptitude/interest in writing men's fashion and accessories.

The candidate must possess an aptitude/interest in writing men's skincare and grooming. 

Style Journalist I

Responsibilities: 

Digital

• Write a bi-weekly fashion editorial, translating runway or lookbook images into wearable items for our readers. Plus, present a luxury special item. 

• Write a monthly column focusing on menswear news.

• Write a monthly column focused on skincare and grooming for men.

Print

• Write one fashion editorial and one grooming feature for the bi-annual magazine.

Style Journalist II

Responsibilities: 

Digital

• Write a bi-annual review of runway shows from fashion week.

• Write regular reviews of lookbook collections.

Print

• Write two fashion presentations for our bi-annual magazines.

Duration: 6 months

This is a virtual and unpaid internship. Yet, you will gain valuable writing experience. 

Official Start Date: ASAP

Preferably applicants should be a college undergraduate or graduate studying journalism or English (or a related field) and have prior writing/reporting experience with your school newspaper or another publication. All internships last for 6 months or longer (negotiable). Recent college graduates or dedicated writers/bloggers are also welcome to apply.

Note: Metro New York, Los Angeles & San Francisco residents strongly encouraged to apply, but location not required.
