Job Description

Mundipharma is looking for a Cyber Security Specialist, this is a hands-on role in a dynamic and fast paced environment. The candidate must have a strong System Administrator background and be highly motivated.  

  • In this role you will work closely with the offshore SOC team and be their technical escalation point.
  • You will have oversight of security incidents, events, and response. You will have responsibility for ensuring we are performing security data analysis and event tracking and identifying critical events, prioritizing, and escalating as needed. 
  • During a high severity incident you need to provide technical leadership to the team and have the ability to look at an attack\breach from multiple angles.
  • You will work across IT teams on both the design and implementation of security controls and have security oversight for projects. Evaluating existing and new security technology in the company environment to identify security risks, gaps and remediation.

Qualifications

  • More than 3 years of experience as Security professional with a focus on incident response, security engineering, and/or intrusion detection 
  • Writes and review documentation and reports for policy, procedure and design. 
  • Good understanding of incident response and response automation strategies 
  • Ability to review reports and system activity to identify critical events, prioritize and escalate as needed. 
  • Good understanding of threat modelling, operational threat intelligence, and common attack vectors 
  • Good knowledge of Endpoint Security, Vulnerability Scans, Intrusion detection\prevention, system hardening, network segmenation 
  • Understanding of system and network hardening practices 
  • Red team background or interest. 
  • Ability to work well in a team environment. Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize and meet deadlines. 
  • Collaboration skills and an ability to lead cross-functional teams 
  • Analytical and investigative abilities with hands-on experience 
  • Knowledge of computer networks and common protocols 
  • Experience analysing network traffic and endpoint artifacts 
  • Thorough understanding of Windows server & Windows 10 operating systems 
  • Automation awareness and preferably PowerShell skills 
  • Azure Cloud knowledge
