We are currently seeking an experienced Product Manager / Product Owner to support and manage a major digital transformation project that involves migrating and building web properties to improve the digital experience for our global marketers. You will play a key role in ensuring this goal comes to fruition across over 40 countries and web properties. You will be joining Experian’s global Shared Marketing team and working closely with digital content owners and developers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong drive for results, interpersonal skills, positive attitude and be comfortable managing and coordinating cross-functional teams. You must have a strong knowledge of Agile methodology and business acumen to own and drive an ambitious global roadmap. In addition, you should have strong organization, planning skills with a consistent track record for delivering commitments on time.

Job Description

Responsibilities include: 

  • Define and document requirements and use cases for web technology features and functionality, including web content authoring, UX/UI, lead generation, web analytics, information architecture, sales enablement, and marketing automation.
  • Take personal accountability for ensuring that team actions and backlog are consistently and fully aligned to the technical needs, strategic needs and objectives of the business and/or client(s).
  • Collaborate with development team to ensure product backlog contains the necessary detail to ensure efficient prioritization, coding, testing, and client validation.
  • Manage the cross-functional strategic planning process, lead conversations with key global stakeholders, and develop detailed product roadmaps
  • Manage multiple projects and work streams, using Agile methodology and working with Experian global digital marketers
  • Regularly prioritize, monitor and track progress of the product and sprint backlogs and commitments against targets, communicating this with the teams to manage expectations and suggest additional support when needed.
  • Identify and mitigate/remove potential road blockers; hold team members accountable for identifying and addressing individual road blockers to personal progress.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • 5+ years previous experience as a Product Owner, Agile Product Manager or equivalent
  • CSPO or PSPO certification
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Marketing, Business or equivalent
  • In-depth understanding of and demonstrated experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and up to date on industry standards and best practices
  • Ability to lead, drive consensus and deliver in a matrix organization with multiple global key stakeholders
  • Expertise in web technologies and digital marketing
  • Very strong verbal and written communication skills (must be an excellent presenter)
  • Experience working with global teams and stakeholders in multiple countries
  • Experience with an enterprise content management system (CMS)
  • High sense of urgency and ability to work well in and navigate a global matrix environment, which requires collaboration, influencing others, and building trust
  • Moderate to expert-level working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence
  • Confident in networking and managing relationships across business and technical teams, both face-to-face and remotely
  • Understanding of and experience in the software development lifecycle

Additional experience in one or more of these areas is a plus:

  • Enterprise-level B2B experience
  • Experience in CMS implementation project
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
  • Agile delivery experience using an agile framework (SAFe, LeSS)
