Job Description

If you believe copywriting is a strategic game and not a play of words, guesswork, big fonts or simply being clever in any shape, way or form... And come with a pinch of leadership, client handling capabilities and experience with conversion rate optimization, you might just be what we at Insane Marketers are looking for.

We are looking to hire a dedicated Copywriting Strategist to lead a team of copywriters, train them & upgrade the results we create by improving our copywriting strategy right from client onboarding to the testing and optimization phase. 

As a Copywriting Strategist at Insane, you will be expected to lead a team of copywriters, train them, create strategies for our clients.

You will also be expected to be highly data-driven to plan strategies for various content assets and to analyze data from the performance of the creatives to see what is working and what’s not. 

Creative assets include planning and writing content for video scripts, landing pages, Facebook and Google ads, emails. 

Your key responsibilities, in a nutshell, include evaluating analytics from tests, data and performance of the creatives to plan copy as needed for various clients.

Qualifications

Your day-to-day

  • Data analysis of copy to see what is working & what is not working.
  • Identifying areas of opportunity/problems across the copy strategy & creating solutions for the same
  • Training copywriters with data-driven insights
  • Reviewing work of copywriters & giving feedback
  • Writing copy for all the stages of the customer journey
  • Measuring the impact of the copy through data, tests and improving on a consistent basis
  • Creating efficient processes to deliver quality work at scale. (Example: Templates & Swipe files for videos scripts, ad copy, landing pages, creative brief)
  • Collaborate with project managers & distribute work effectively among copywriters

Requirements

  • Top class English communication skills
  • Leadership skills
  • Ability to understand the audience to find out what motivates them
  • Ability to think conceptually
  • An understanding of user experience
  • Proven experience as a copywriter or related role
  • Knowledge of online content strategy and creation
