The Global IT Security Analyst is a critical role in our organization. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is motivated by an opportunity to participate in an organization’s global approach to systems, infrastructure, and end user support.

We are looking for an individual who has the technical skills and intellectual capability to lead through this change and has the drive and desire to grow with a business.

Primary Accountabilities:

• Deploy, manage, and monitor security tools such as endpoint protection, encryption, firewall configurations, log management, intrusion detection, multi-factor authentication.
• Support implementation of various frameworks including ISO27001 and NIST800-53, 171.
• Analyze information systems utilizing various cybersecurity techniques including packet analysis tools, forensics tools, intrusion prevention systems, firewalls, SIEM solutions, and vulnerability assessment software to aid in the detection and prevention of cyber-attacks.
• Work with SOC to investigate and respond to security incident.
• Participate in the response, investigation, and resolution of security incidents.  
• Complete and lead information security projects and implementing security technology.
• Maintain a strong awareness of the current threat landscape.  
• Assist with security policy reviews, configuration standards, and 3rd-party audits.
• Create custom network-based signatures to improve defensive posture within security products.  
• Utilize malware analysis techniques (advanced and static analysis) to identify and assess malicious software. Perform computer and network forensic analysis.  
• Contribute to incident response plans, reporting and policy updates as needed.

Education and Experience:

• BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Technology or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of experience in a security role in a SOC or similar operating environment; complexity, size and scope.
• Familiarity with security frameworks including ISO, NIST, or CIS required.
• GCIA, GCIH, Security +, Network +, CEH, RHCA, MSA, or MCP preferred.  
• Must be able to travel as needed, sometimes as much as 30%.
