IT Systems Administrator

Ensure that the capacity and availability obligations of corporate computing systems are met. This includes gathering and analyzing data in support of systems management,  maintenance, and performance. Monitors system performance and ensure data integrity. Installs new software releases and system upgrades. Evaluates and installs patches. Resolves computing systems related problems. Performs system backups and recoveries. 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. 
• Minimum of three years of on hands experience.
• Primary responsibilities will consist of any day to day activities for Microsoft Windows Server 2008, Microsoft  Exchange Server 2010, Microsoft SQL Server 2000, 2005 and 2008 (Administration), VMware ESX 4.0  to ESXi 5.1, VMware View, Symantec NetBackup, Citrix XenApp, Fortinet.
• Expertise in Servers, Virtualization, Storage, Databases, LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, IPv4, IPv6, Security, Disaster Recovery Planning, IT Processes and Documentation.
• Configure and maintain new operational enterprise class hardware.
• Proactively monitor the overall health of the company’s enterprise environment.
• Monitor patch releases and develop patch installation strategies.  
• Perform system backups. 
• Provide input to the policies and procedures related to equipment purchase, use, support, monitoring, security, and backup.
