Job Description

In this role you will be a key member of the  Marketing team.

This position will require:

Product-focused content planning and creation

  • Build on product messaging that sets new products apart from competitors to showcase our unique selling points
  • Plan and participate in the launch of new services and products which involve several different departments
  •  Obtain insights into customers’ usage of current products, untapped opportunities and buyer personas, through interviews, surveys, focus groups and sales data
  • Create content such as case studies, videos, website copy and blog posts
  • Confidently host thought leadership and demand gen webinars, live presentations and on demand videos

Conversion, enablement and demand generation

  • Communicate the vision and value of new products to the sales team and develop sales tools that facilitate the selling process
  • Agree timelines and deadlines for the development of new products with product management, engineering or manufacturing departments
  • Monitor audience growth and engagement, that will ultimately be nurtured into high quality marketing leads
  • Research and understanding of the target audience, industries and personas

Tracking success and communicating learnings

  • Documented campaign planning
  • Routine reporting of tactics employed, and results garnered
  • Good stakeholder management and communication skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree or University Degree or equivalent (technical studies, computer science or marketing preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in a content-creation field – for example, technical marketing, product marketing, or engineering content development
  • Technically fluent, you are comfortable dealing with technical information and can translate technical capabilities into customer benefits.
  • Understanding of product marketing, inbound marketing, and content marketing. You are familiar with the process of product management and how product marketing fits into it.
  • Have solid knowledge of marketing analytics, automation, and content creation tools.
  • Ability to think creatively and break industry stereotypes
  • Strong public speaker, comfortable in front of large, senior groups
  • Excellent writing skills and a passion for storytelling and digital content
  • Experience developing and delivering product marketing campaigns (messaging, whitepapers, eBooks, videos, and webcasts)
  • Proven success working with global, cross-functional teams
