Android Kotlin/AOSP engineer

You will join the team which is developing a communications device supporting sharing of photos, enabling video calls and messaging, along with supporting other entertainment services. Product is written in Android, so any application and service development by Mobica is in Java and Kotlin, using potentially modified upper AOSP framework layers. Most of our work is focused on enabling voice/audio experiences.

This position is to support maintenance and enhancements to the voice assistant service. The voice assistant maps voice interaction to the invocation of customer services on the device, or passing on to Google assistant. This service makes use of Android frameworks for capture of voice commands and passing those off to command evaluation and execution services

• 4+ years of experience with Android development
• Strong Kotlin and AOSP knowledge
• Good knowledge of Java
• Experience with C++ will be an advantage
