Job Description

Smaato is looking for a SVP, Product management to hire, coach and lead a strong team of cross-functional geographically product analyst and product manager to deliver features across a high-throughput, high complexity, distributed system. The ideal leader of Product Management will assist define product market fit, develop the product roadmap,  and drive the execution of that strategy. 

What You’ll Do

  • Develop roadmap for product to grow monetisation through prioritising coverage of ad formats, media types, channels, and tactics
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams -- engineering, data science, business development, and account management to create business requirements, develop technical designs, and develop new products to go to market
  • Create an environment of product excellence centred on velocity, simplicity, frugality and innovation.
  • Enable the product team to work at maximum efficiency and velocity to deliver products to market.
  • Hire, coach, manage and retain a geographically distributed team with locations in the US, Europe, India .
  • Be accountable for setting expectations and delivering against expectations when it comes to product management.
  • Build cross-functional best practices with Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal and Operations to produce company-wide synergies and improvements.
  • Connect people across teams and organizations to find solutions to problems.
  • Work closely with Engineering counterparts within the broader parent company to identify opportunities for synergies, common understanding, learning and support.

Qualifications

What We'll Need

Essential Prerequisites:

  • University Degree in a scientific discipline
  • Ad Tech experience is must 
  • Expert at managing multiple cross-functional teams with multiple management layers
  • Experience using ad platforms and building ad products from scratch
  • Experience operating a metrics-driven environment, where decisions are made with data
  • Experience working with highly technical customers, and supporting the Engineering and Sales teams in their engagement with customers
  • Experience building and managing remote teams effectively
