Job Description

This is a full-time, professional exempt position. A Senior eLearning Training Manager in this position will be responsible to develop highly interactive e-learning content for both internal and external clients. Responsibilities will also include developing and facilitating professional development/Project Management courses and internal associate training.  This role requires creative collaboration with our Human Resources, Sales, Marketing, Data Engineering, Product, Implementation teams as well as managing external client needs.  Additionally, this position will also be responsible for managing the Learning Management System.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create interactive eLearning courses for employee onboarding.
  • Develop online learning for training of various department training applications.
  • Deliver/facilitate client training programs and courses.
  • Champion ELLKAY’s Learning Management System (LMS) platform.
  • Work with clients to develop and deliver client training plans.
  • Collaborate with the professional development leadership team and gather stakeholder input to build the roadmap for digital learning priorities.
  • Scale our centralized global training curriculum through digital learning.
  • Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence.
  • Understand interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs.
  • Set and manage appropriate expectations with internal and external clients.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in eLearning training development.
  • Bachelor’s degree in education, instructional design/technology or related field.
  • Demonstrated Captivate expertise.
  • Experience in Camtasia, but not required.
  • Knowledge and experience training on electronic health electronic system(s).
  • Proven knowledge of instructional design, development and delivery methodologies.
  • A great design eye that pays close attention to layout and detail.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands.
  • Flexible with proven ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to exercise effective decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of or experience in LMS management (preferred, but not required)
  • Willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time.

Education/Training/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, instructional design/technology or appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of eLearning experience, including designing, creating and implementing training programs
  • 2+ years of EHR systems experience preferred
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint.
  • Experience managing training team preferred.

This is a full-time position for our HQ located in Elmwood Park, NJ. Remote work is available within the US.
