IT Technical Writer III

Pure Integration is seeking a Information Technology Technical Writer III focused on supporting the Enterprise Marketing Team.  The ideal candidate must have outstanding communication and presentation skills. This role supports and IT team supporting a Marketing Technology team.  

Type of Role : Contract

Location : McLean, VA - Hybrid Remote (25%/75%)

Work Authorization:  We Do Not Sponsor H1B Visas.  No C2C Relationships. 

Core Responsibilities:

• Researches, prepares and edits complex technical documents.
• Ensures documents meet editorial and customer specifications and adhere to standards for quality, graphics, format, and style. Interfaces with writers, illustrators, word processors, and subject matter specialized in coordinating and preparing the edited draft.
• Participates in the publishing of formatted documentation in various media.
• Maintains current knowledge of relevant technical subject matter as assigned. Participates as member of project team.
• Tracks project documentation through creation, approval, publication, and update lifecycle. 

Requirements:

• 5-10 years of business or technical writing experience and working knowledge of multiple software and graphics packages.Experience in software development lifecycle.  
• Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Technical Writing, Business Administration, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
• Must have strong organizational and project management skills and excellent writing and editing skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to create clean, quality content without the benefit of double- reading. Working with stakeholders to understand and address their concerns within the documents.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
