We are looking for a Retail Operations Manager to join the Hardware Business Operations team. Our goal is to support the retail marketing efforts to grow the Square brand. You could be a good fit for this role if you are experienced in retail operations support and if you are comfortable managing commercial relationships with distribution partners. You have a strong understanding of the retail order management processes (both direct and indirect retail partners) and will conduct analysis to ensure all KPIs are met. To help grow Square, you will identify and guide ongoing process improvement efforts across all areas of focus.
The role is remotely based in the UK or Netherlands, however due to your team primarily based out of the San Francisco Bay Area, some evening working hours will overlap with Pacific Standard Time.
You Will:
Manage day-to-day supplier partnership and operations with distributors, local warehouse and hardware business systems teams (Oracle) as well as downstream customers (Retailers, Internal partners, etc).
Build processes and systems efficiency for product fulfillment and oversight of retail distribution.
Maintain current metrics & SLA's, as well as determine criteria to continuously improve our capability to bring successful scalable solutions to our partners across all of Square Retail as the business grows.
Manage and execute on a component of Square's global retail supply chain
Support new product introductions, product life cycle, end-of-life activities at retail and distribution
Collaborate with internal accounting, retail marketing, supply, demand & operations teams to support retail efforts
Be responsible for accurate system set up and compliance requirements with all retail partners as needed
You Have:
5+ years of related experience in retail, sales operations or vendor management
Experience managing multiple projects and the operational complexity of Fortune 500 partners/customers
Experience with or high level of comfort with various ERP/OMS systems
Expert quantitative analysis and logical reasoning; experience/ ability to show track record of data driven decisions
Chargeback management, dispute resolution & reporting of monthly metrics
