Job Description

Purpose of the Job

The Change Communications Manager is responsible for developing, coordinating and implementing communication plans to support the transformation of the organization.  This role needs to engage and influence the behaviours of key sponsors, SLT and employees throughout the business before, during and after transformation.

Main responsibilities

  • Design and delivery of comms plans to drive change across the organization – utilising different channels, formats and tools as required for delivery.
  • Work collaboratively with change and communications colleagues to ensure communications plans and key messages are aligned.
  • A key focus on the timing and channels of communication to ensure that appropriate levels of communication are delivered to drive awareness, understanding, action and belief in the changes.
  • Oversight and direct involvement throughout creation of content using storytelling to educate employees on the progress of transformation initiatives aligned to the business strategy and values.
  • Focused internal communications programme aimed at engaging and influencing employees impacted by strategic transformation initiatives
  • Relationship building with internal stakeholders at all levels of the organisation to assist in driving change management delivery via consistent communications and regular support to the business
  • Development of communication tool kits for leaders and managers to use.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • At least 5 years working in a change communications, internal communications or PR role
  • Dealing with multiple stakeholders and championing change
  • Copy writing experience, preferably in professional services
  • Experience of working in business change environment
  • In-depth knowledge of the industry and its current events preferred
  • Ability to link communications plans with commercial priorities and measure results
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Impeccable organisational, prioritisation and planning skills
  • Project management skills
