Solution Engineer

Documents are relics from the past, no one should spend time dealing with it anymore. Yet, the only reliable connectors available to get data from the physical world (documents) to the digital world (software) are humans.

At Mindee, we are changing that by giving developers, businesses and end-users the ability to get instantly all the information they need within any document just from a picture of it. Our API is both easy to use so that all developers can empower their applications in minutes, and reliable in order to serve the most demanding use cases.

Our API is being used by developers everywhere to automate critical processes such as expense management, accounting, AP automation, loan application, customer onboarding, and many more. 

We aim at creating a global leader in the emerging market of document understanding software.

As a Solution Engineer, you will be responsible for helping the team close or upsell key accounts.

Clients love our product, but they will need your creativity, adaptability, and problem-solving capability to make the most out of it.

You will also be responsible as the first user for feeding back the Product and DevRel teams with personal and market feedback;

Your main tasks will be:

• Build prototypes and demos on top of our APIs to help the Sales team close new clients;

• Work closely with Account Executives on key prospect and on original projects in different markets;

• Package these prototypes and demos in neat SDKs and libraries that can be handed over to the clients for faster implementation and easier use; Your code might end up in production in our clients’ stack;

• Manage custom projects by interfacing integrators and dev agencies with our clients;

Your skills

• You have 2+ years experience as a Software Engineer. Having a prior experience in technical selling or to have worked as a freelance, and dealt with customer-facing would be a nice plus;

• You know at least two different backend languages (like Python or NodeJS) and the willingness to discover new ones;

• You have an affinity with a frontend JS framework (React, Vue, Angular...);

• GitHub and its uses have no secrets for you;

• Having already contributed to an open source project would be a plus;

• You are fluent in English or English native;

• Autodidact is a good marker, but not mandatory;

• Profile of an applied handyman, curious to new things, but who values details and things well done;

• Not afraid to present its own work to other people;

• Strong desire to help people solve problems and an attention to detail;
