Together with T&F, we at F1000, are currently looking to bring on three talented, self-motivated and conscientious Full Stack Engineers to work in our Bengaluru, India location in our technology team. You’ll have the opportunity to build a career within a start-up like environment while researchers expand the reaches of human knowledge.

You will work with like minded talents engineers toward enriching the experience of our users and partners. As we grow the network of human knowledge, you will contribute to software services positioned to harness it to accelerate our business.

What you’ll be doing:

• Contributing to all aspects of the services under the team’s ownership, which includes designing, implementing, refactoring, unit testing, deploying, and uptime of the services
• Helping other team members grow as engineers through code review, pairing, and mentoring
• Improving internal team processes by keeping what's working, throwing away what's not
• Helping set the vision of the services under the team's ownership
• Helping align the roadmap based on customer and company desires
• Building the technology the right way: for us, this means simple, well-tested services that gradually grow over time, and that provide plenty of insight into production performance

• Passion about your craft and desire to work with talented individuals
• Communications skills, both technical and non-technical depending on audiences
• Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment
• Ability to ship software early and often; a good understanding of continuous delivery, writing unit tests and automated testing
• Prior experience delivering using Agile on at least 2 key projects
• Comfort working at all tiers of modern applications, from the frontend all the way to the database
• TDD/BDD all day
• Ability to work with any and all technologies like Java, Scala, Javascript, React, PostgreSQL
• Strong knowledge of how the web works and how to make it efficient (HTTP, caching, page rendering, sockets, etc)
• An understanding of software development fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, problem solving, OO design, and system architecture)
• Previous exposure to Microservice Architecture, Domain Driven Design, REST APIs
• Passion for design, not only in the product and visual sense, but also in your code and technical architecture
• Experience managing Git and release workflow
• Minimum 5+ years in Java/Javascript programming experience
