We are looking to bring an self-motivated, Tech enthusiast Senior / Software Engineer to work in our eCommerce, Order to Cash Technology Team in Product & Technology Organization. You will help to innovate, improve, and deliver all aspects of content delivery channels and enhance with new ideas how a digital platform can enable new business models for the Taylor And Francis digital portfolio. You'll have an incredible opportunity to build a career within a start-up like environment while helping our ecommerce products and purchase offerings to our diverse customer base worldwide.
We work with different technologies mainly including Java, Node.js, Angular, Spring, Rest API, Camel, S3, SQS, SNS, Gradle, Maven etc. The team poses advance knowledge in DevOps including CI/CD, Docker, build automations etc. The team leads the company in developing the solutions for replacing the traditional business processes. We are cloud first organisation, and our entire infrastructure resides on the backbone of AWS, MuleSoft and few others. As a Software Engineer you will work with like-minded talented engineers towards building micro services, websites, Ecommerce solution. As we grow, you will contribute onwards the vision of digitalising all processes including sales, business, analytics, maintenance, invoicing etc.
What you’ll be doing:
This will be a hands-on opportunity in which you will be responsible for taking a lead role of a project team. You will be directly responsible for running the technical releases of a scrum team and you will have a team of 4-5 software engineers working with you in this project. You will also build new platforms and tools to the highest quality and reliability to enable us to continue our transition to a micro-service oriented architecture and integration of new third-party services.
