Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Development of high value projects, assessing potential to upsell and expand a project within Eurofins Discovery based on deep understanding of the customer needs.
• Responsible for identifying and securing projects with the Eurofins Discovery Regional Business Development Leaders and local Business Development
• Support the achievement of assigned Eurofins Discovery in vitro biology and associated projects
• Actively obtaining customer feedback and translating it into solutions, improvements and new requirements to develop and extend biology services together with sales and marketing
• Work with Business Development organization to identify, qualify, and close opportunities, including the design of an appropriate scope of work
• Primary liaison across commercial and global scientific operations insuring proper management of the client project.
• Work with teams regionally and globally to design and deliver proposals that drive increasing internal value to projects based on value to the customer.
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) on all of the Eurofins Discovery site operational capabilities and capacity for designing client projects.
• Work with Eurofins commercial organization and Business Development to understand customer trends and develop appropriate strategies to secure business
• Acts as the voice of the customer relaying innovations, technology and unfulfilled needs of the customer to BU leaders and marketing to contribute to innovation and portfolio expansion.

• Owns the accountability and responsibility of delivering to client needs and timeliness

• Provides cross-functional support to other departments as required

• Adjusts work hours as needed to meet client deadlines

• Adheres to site environmental health and safety (EHS) requirements

• PhD in an applicable science (biology, chemistry, pharmacology) or more than 10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Experience in liaising across functional areas and managing cross-site efforts including those of external collaborators and CROs
• Proven track record of identifying and managing drug discovery  projects in coordination with Project Leaders
•  
• Good understanding of the drug discovery and development process and proficient in working with Operations to devise appropriate work packages tailored for individual customers.
• Experience in identifying and developing business for drug discovery in North America EU and Asia Pac territories.

Position is full-time, Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm.
