Mid-Level UX/UI Designer
Location: Glendale, CA
Duration: 6 Months Contract

Remote: Yes (PST Work Hours)

Responsibilities:

• Deliver full-stack designs for mobile, tablet, and web by creating wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and pixel perfect visuals
• Work within existing style guidelines and expand upon them
• Backup design decisions with data-driven insights and user research
• Work cross-functionally with product manager, senior management, marketing and developers

Experience/Qualifications:

• 5+ years for mid-level candidate with relevant experience designing interfaces for web and mobile
• Demonstrate solid portfolio showcasing websites and mobile application UX/UI designs
• Expert in Sketch, Zeplin and other wire framing and design collaboration tools
• Show examples of both data-driven decision making and instinct based decision making
• Must consider themselves a UX/UI design expert with solid understanding of design processes, style guidelines, usability, and interaction design
• Strong design thought leadership with ability to think beyond what is asked for and create conceptual and detailed workflow designs
• Deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design
• Outstanding written, verbal and presentation communication skills
• Ability to present designs and sell solutions to various stakeholders
• Must be able to manage time, multi-task competing priorities in a fast-paced, often evolving environment
• Comfortable giving and receiving critical design feedback
• Care more about successful outcomes rather than your design vision
