About your role:

We are expanding our Sydney team and would love to welcome an experienced and dynamic Occupational Therapist who isn’t afraid to try something different. You will bring your experience and maturity to the role along with excellent time management and organisational skills.

Responsibilities will include;

  • Manage an allocated caseload (based on your negotiated hours) and complete therapeutic services in a timely manner with the assistance of an OTA
  • Assess participants emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical level of function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments
  • Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant
  • Provide therapeutic interventions that are evidence-based and help participants get more out of life
  • Mentor and guide New Grad/Junior staff members and students
  • Maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance

 

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will have:

  •  Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
  •  3+ years’ experience as an Occupational Therapist
  •  Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied     caseload
  •  A pro-active attitude, motivated by improvement and the opportunity to test and learn from new ideas
  •  Experience in mentoring and supervising other Occupational Therapists
  •  A genuine passion for working in the disability sector
