Who will you work with?

You will join an agency that values a point of view. Day to day, you will work with all relevant media stakeholders to deliver exceptional campaign planning and results. This role also closely collaborates with specialist media, technology and digital partners.

Our programmatic team is a fast moving, dynamic team; always open to effective changes to the way we work and the products that we bring to market. Unlike other trading roles, you will have the opportunity to be involved from end to end in the campaign process; from the beginning of the planning stage up to presenting impactful results to the clients. The programmatic team prides itself as a cross channel collaborator, and you will have opportunities to discuss ideas, troubleshoot and learn from teams of other channels.

Job Description

Who are we looking for?

An analytical, data driven expert in programmatic trading with 3+ years experience and has an in depth understanding of programmatic tech/vendors/channels. You will manage an Assistant  and be able to be hands on with implementation when necessary. You will also be strong in client management to drive relationships and deliverables.

You don’t need to know it all now. If you have more direct digital than programmatic experience that’s totally fine, we will take the time to train and upskill you. You will also be exposed to  search and social.

You will gain a deep understanding of trading and a large breadth of knowledge across programmatic tech and vendors. You will be trained on client facing tasks, as well as every stage of the campaign process. 

You will get the chance to work across clients in categories Online Education, Property, Pet Product Ecommerce, Finance and Environment.

What will your day to day look like?

  • You will be involved in all stages of the campaign, from planning to client presentations 
  • Your ideas will be heard, and you will have ample opportunities to discuss and bring these ideas to life
  • Your time will be allocated as 30% planning & response, 20% client facing, 40% managing the team and 10% troubleshooting
  • You will manage campaign activities such as campaign DSP set-up, creative trafficking, documentation creation and maintenance, QA, performance reporting and billing reconciliation
  • You will support the rest of the team with trading related troubleshooting and optimisation recommendations as approved by your manager and client
  • You will build relationships and manage external DSP relationships, if activity is not being run in house, ensuring they have all assets and details needed for the campaign to run successfully, and manage ongoing results
  • You will decipher and respond to client briefs, via presentations and build out media plans. This also entails being able to determine which channels are best to hit the brief objectives
  • You will identify and map out user journey for campaigns, and implementing tracking necessary for complete measurement
  • You will support the Programmatic Lead in developing and providing input in the construction of client decks and status documentation
  • You will demonstrate diligence, attention to detail and adherence to programmatic best practices throughout the full programmatic campaign life-cycle
  • You will handle daily campaign maintenance, including internal questions regarding tracking and status of various campaigns 
  • You will assist in the development of client-facing campaign performance reports  
  • You will contribute to the assessment of inventory availability and the formulation of proposals for new client opportunities  
  • You will run the campaign QA process to ensure accurate campaign implementation, pacing and performance 
  • You will support the Programmatic Lead to ensure on-time delivery of financial reporting to the business, including forecasts and billing actuals ensuring invoicing is 100% accurate and on time, every month
  • You have the ability to understand and analyse data, and provide stakeholders with reports that are easy to understand and actionable  
  • You may need to support the team with new business pitches and ad hoc projects 
  • You will build and maintain relationships with relevant publishers and tech providers
  • You will participate in regular knowledge share sessions to share and learn new strategies for optimizing and enhancing. Presenting to internal groups and clients when needed 
  • You will have a high attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication, project management and organisation skills and will thrive in a fast paced environment
  • You will have a strong proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets, Slides,Docs and Keynote using a Mac
  • You will be experienced in Google Campaign Manager (CM) and how it integrates with Display & Video 360 (DV360) and Google Analytics (GA360), Google Tag Manager (GTM) & implementation of CM Floodlights
  • You will have the ability to apply technical skills from experience with the above platforms to learning additional tech platforms - i.e. additional DSPs, ad-servers, SDKs, etc.

Team Management & Development

  • You will have previous experience managing a direct report
  • You will work with the Programmatic Lead and with your direct report to ensure tasks and client deliverables are completed effectively 
  • You will adhere to processes implemented within the team to manage budgets, ensure accuracy, respect SLAs and timely reporting 
  • You will provide development and training to direct reports so they can continue in their career progression with regular check ins on their wellbeing, development and to assess performance against #GROW goals
