Your team

As a member of the Avaloq development team, you will be part of a group of highly skilled, motivated and dynamic people that are responsible for a central part of the Avaloq Banking Suite.

This job opportunity allows for a unique combination to advance your development skills, but also to acquire banking know how on a top level. You will become an expert of our core banking software and the corresponding business processes in the banking industry.

The Avaloq Banking Suite is one of the largest PL/SQL applications in the world. It is safe to say that your co-workers are among, if not the most knowledgeable Oracle specialists in the world.

Development takes place in our integrated development environment - a customized Eclipse platform, which is tightly integrated with a build automation and delivery system, allowing a standardized and automated process to be followed.

Your mission

• Analyse and resolve software defects
• Analyse customer requirements and define design to address such requirements.
• Maintain, review and improve code in own components

What you need

• University degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Electronics Engineering
• Knowledge in Java/Oracle Architecture, Java or PL/SQL Engineering
• Experience working with any IT related projects

You will get extra points for the following

• Able to design and implement a big feature while working with an IT project
• Banking know-how is an advantage but not required
