Lead Program Manager

ABOUT THE JOB

In this role you will manage the IT portfolio to achieve FBOS and specifically Master Lock’s strategic goals and pre-established strategic roadmap execution for the digital transformation program. Additionally, you will oversee the successful planning, resourcing, organization, leading and execution of critical ERP Cloud implementations at Master Lock.  You will partner closely with the overall IT and Business leadership to execute effectively to the program objectives, project plans, while enabling overall organizational change management, stakeholder communication and management of program resources.

YOUR ROLE:  

• Drive PM methodology adoption across all IT
• Manage IT portfolio, spend, interdependencies, audit, metrics and reporting
• Support refinement of PM methodology, standards and best practices
• Execute on pre-established roadmap and release delivery schedule
• Provide PM training to support building of PM competency
• Responsible for the successful planning, organization, leading, and execution of programs/projects effectively and efficiently.
• Focuses on both strategic and tactical achievement of desired business results.
• Manages projects team members without direct authority when leading cross-functional projects
• Oversee 1-2 major strategic initiatives (ERP or Automation related), or 2-4 smaller projects
• Provides guidance to other PMs and manages large projects with little to no guidance from superiors.    

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• BA/BS Business in IT
• 4+ years work experience in PMO or an IT related position
• 3-5 years of Portfolio/Program/Project Management experience
• Experience working large, strategic IT projects and managing large IT portfolio as well as leading project teams
• Project management software capabilities (e.g. Microsoft Project, ServiceNow PPM, Smartsheet, Monday.com, etc.)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• PMI PMP certification or demonstrated related expertise
• General leadership and management skills
• Advanced communication, negotiation, change management, and conflict resolution capabilities
• Demonstrated understanding of organizational environment and projects alignment to corporate objectives
• Knowledge of enterprise applications, preferably Oracle ERP applications (on-premise and cloud)
• Strong analytical Skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize efforts
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
