Job Description

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be leading a team of modeling engineers who are key players in the success of the core business. You will be responsible for maintaining the relationship between Stakeholders and your model engineering team by setting expectations and delivering on plan. You will act as an expert technical and business resource for modeling efforts. It is of utmost importance that you assure the team maintains security, compliance, and quality requirements for model deliveries, as an agent for our business partners. We are looking for someone that can be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment. Someone who can adapt to quick requirement requests and adjust their work accordingly in a positive manner. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Managing Team that will analyze, design, and develop model software applications that are distributed across multiple production environments and potentially fluid in scope
  • Monitors and assess the health and performance of the software engineering team
  • Has first-hand knowledge of Machine Learning model processes and concepts
  • Assists in maintaining the strategy for hosting and managing our Product Delivery pipeline
  • Develop strategies to increase new revenue opportunities
  • Participates in agile software development management for enterprise-level systems including design and implementation
  • Applies deep understanding of application and enterprise software design for implementation of model software
  • Create key performance metrics, measuring the utilization, performance, and overall health of the model delivery process
  • Report backlog and expectations to user communities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Management, or equivalent job experience
  • Experience in IT management
  • Knowledge of Credit Industry
  • Comprehensive understanding of infrastructure, operations, and software development
  • Programming skills in a major language (such as C, Java, Perl, Python)
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent listening skills and a strong work ethic coupled with a curiosity for new trends and emerging technologies
  • Must be a self-starter, highly motivated, detail oriented, and have the ability to work collaboratively with others
  • Ability to look ahead and identify opportunities or issues based on business needs
  • Experience with AWS cloud environment
  • Knowledge of legacy technologies (Unix, Linux, Mainframe)
  • Proven former job stability while maintaining professional relationships
  • Foster a healthy team culture aimed at innovation and experimentation
  • Willing to delegate and empower the team
  • Understanding of software process including system integration, testing, and troubleshooting

·       Detail oriented, analytical, and problem solver with a desire to produce a quality product

  • Experience with Agile Dev Methodology, SDLC process
  • Must be able to clear the company’s pre-employment screening
