Taylor & Francis Group have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Data Analyst to join the Insights, Merchandising and Pricing team. We’re looking for an individual who has a real curiosity about patterns in data and a passion for turning those patterns into actionable commercial information.
This role would suit someone who is highly numerate with exceptional analytics skills, alongside the ability to communicate their insight to the wider business and make commercial recommendations and creative trading suggestions. You’ll be kept busy managing some of your own insight projects as well as supporting the Senior Marketing Insights Manager in ensuring that insight actively supports the budget, targets and goals of both Books Marketing and the wider Books trading function.
What you’ll be doing:
Development of marketing performance – drive marketing performance through campaign tracking and analysis, benchmarking, and goals.
Website performance – use Google Tag Manager to tag website enhancements and develop reporting to monitor website performance through these changes.
Support merchandising and pricing – gather requirements, create reports, improve tracking, and provide deep-dive analysis and actionable insights.
Enhance internal reporting – optimise the existing suite of reports and dashboards and work with stakeholders to build reports based on requirements.
Support colleagues – support colleagues to become more data-centric through promotion of self-service tools, training on reporting available and communicating on developments.
Performance reporting – prepare regular reports on performance of department efforts, sharing summaries and actionable recommendations.
Bespoke analysis – work with colleagues on their data requirements and analyse and manipulate data to inform business decisions.
Project ownership – fully owning several insight and data projects and managing these projects across internal and external stakeholders.
Communicate findings – effectively communicate and present back to stakeholders on insights and recommendations.
