THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE
The Environmental, Social and Governance - Portfolio Management - Advisor role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:


As a valued contributor to our team, you will advise team members on methods and processes for managing several projects and/or products to meet organizational goals. In this role, you will provide advanced analytical support to make decisions regarding resources, timing, scope, priorities, risks, and opportunities. You will develop processes to enhance coordination with other teams and ensure support of the portfolios.

 

  • Actively engage in the attainment of Fannie Mae’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) targets with an emphasis on our multi-year Equitable Housing Finance Plan.

 

  • Support cross-functional efforts and engagements with a range of internal and external partners that includes:  Single-family, Multi-family, Capital Markets, Legal, Credit Risk Teams, Fair lending, Research, marketing, Government & Industry Relations, etc. that enable business execution.

 

  • Supports regulatory efforts that enable the design, implementation, tracking and reporting of our regulatory directives.

Qualifications

THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

Design systematic approach to collecting and reporting on project or operation data. Review and analyze data collected by the team. Recommend objectives of projects or products. Review performance of product or project teams. Refine goals, guidelines, objectives, and timelines for teams as needed.

 

Minimum Required Experiences 

  • 6 years  

Desired Experiences 

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in Housing, Finance, Real Estate

 

Skills:
Communication skills including communicating in writing or verbally, copywriting, planning and distributing communication, etc.
Experience helping an organization to plan and manage change in effort to meet strategic objectives
Skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand
Experience gathering accurate information to explain concepts and answer critical questions
Experience identifying and selecting strategic options, and identifying resources to meet the defined objectives
Ability to frame ideas as systems and analyzing the inputs, outputs, and process
Risk Assessment and Management skills including evaluating and designing controls, conducting impact assessments, identifying control gaps, remediating risk, etc.
Working with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal
Relationship Management skills including managing and engaging stakeholders, customers, and vendors, building relationship networks, contracting, etc.
Skilled in the graphical representation of information in the form of a charts, diagrams, pictures, and dashboards with programs and tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI
Performance Measurement skills including evaluating programs, evaluating vendors, and defining and measuring KPIs
Product Development skills including designing products, developing product roadmaps, translating design requirements, prototyping, etc.
Sales, Marketing, and PR skills including marketing products, social media marketing, creating collateral, planning and developing content for speaking engagements managing the media, etc.
Skilled in cloud technologies and cloud computing
Adept at managing project plans and, resources, a to ensure successful project completion
Governance and Compliance skills including creating policies, evaluating compliance, conducting internal investigations, developing data governance, etc.
Influencing skills including negotiating, persuading others, facilitating meetings, and resolving conflict
Skilled in documentation and database reporting for the purposes of analysis, data discovery, and decision-making with the use of relevant software such as Crystal Reports, Excel, or SSRS
Experience forecasting, predicting, and monitoring financials with a focus on ratios, equities, and debts
Experience using SharePoint
Skilled in Microsoft Teams
Skilled in Tableau
Experience using Microsoft Project
Skilled in Excel
