Senior Technical Product Manager - Infrastructure Services

Procore is looking for a Senior Technical Product Manager, Infrastructure Services to play an integral role in building our global infrastructure components at scale. As a member of the Global Infrastructure team, you will assist with defining the future of our next-generation infrastructure to help Procore connect everyone in construction globally

This position will report to the Director of Product, Global Infrastructure, and has the opportunity to work remotely from a U.S. location or in our Carpinteria, CA, New York, NY, or Austin, TX office. We’re looking for someone to join our team immediately

What you’ll do:

• Use your technical knowledge to drive scalable and high-performance infrastructure architectures by articulating how our solution meets the needs of our stakeholders and customers

• Work on prioritization of top initiatives for the Cloud Systems Engineering teams and report on the prioritization/backlog to the Product Leadership

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to define infrastructure services objectives that meet technical and business goals, build consensus on priorities, drive and, ensure the launch of service/solutions meets or exceeds expectations at the desired quality level

• Support engineering scrum teams and associated project epics as a technical product leader

• Work across a wide cross-section of internal stakeholders with a high degree of ambiguity, and relish the idea of solving challenging problems

• Drive outcomes, define and measure KPIs based on impact

• Collaborate with thought leaders and domain experts to co-create innovative infrastructure service solutions

• Establish a deep understanding of a wide range of technologies and have the ability to effectively translate business requirements into technical solutions 

• Assist with roadmap delivery, producing training content and material, launch planning and other infrastructure deliverables

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years of experience working in a global infrastructure product, or a similar role

• Bachelor’s or Degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent technical experience

• Excellent verbal and written communication to clearly distil substance and convey complex points concisely

• An outcome-driven attitude with deep technical knowledge in infrastructure architecture, systems and security

• Strong technical skills in compute, storage, networking and traffic management at a global scale with experience in Cloud providers like AWS, GCP or Azure; sound knowledge of Kubernetes and data stores is preferred

• Ability to negotiate, lead, influence and collaborate across a cross-functional organization

• Comfortable with ambiguity, tight deadlines and operating in a fast-paced environment

• Strategic, analytical thinker with the ability to make data-driven decisions

• Strong prioritization skills of competing needs and tradeoffs to articulate a clear rationale to affected stakeholders

• Analytical, critical big picture thinker capable of collecting clear/concise data from multiple sources accompanied with strong presentation skills
