The RnD Discovery team accelerates time to impact for new hires in R&D through a world-class onboarding experience focused on teaching product knowledge and discipline-specific technical depth.  

We are looking for someone to join us as a New Hire Success Specialist . In this role, you’ll be responsible for the success of new hires in technical roles through onboarding and as they transition onto their teams. You’ll do this through:

• Creating a strong and supportive learner community

• Planning and hosting social events and engagement activities

• Owning operations and logistics for a group of learners, including enrolment and scheduling

• Tracking and reporting on new hire progress and building intervention plans when new hires are struggling to reach impact on the expected timeline

• This role will support a cohort

Please note this role will be fully remote. We are currently looking for someone who can work in the EST timezone.

Responsibilities:
 

• Manage program operations for a group of up to 40 learners, including: program enrollment, scheduling, feedback collection, and tooling.

• Plan and host social events and both synchronous and asynchronous engagement activities to create a strong and supportive learner community.

• Track and report on the progress of new hires. Plan and deliver intervention plans to support new hires who are struggling.

• Craft and maintain program communications, including writing communication products, maintaining documentation, and responding to learner inquiries.

• Use data to identify struggling new hires and lead the effort to get them back on track, leveraging existing resources and playbooks.

• Familiarity with best practices for program operations including operations and logistics, participant engagement, and program evaluation.

• The ability to use both synchronous and asynchronous techniques and tools to create a strong and supportive learning community

• The ability to thrive in an environment where experimentation is encouraged, and the confidence to execute on and champion those experiments.

• Exceptional written and spoken communication skills with experience creating inclusive culture and supporting diverse learners.

• Prior experience delivering programs remotely to distributed cohorts of participants.

Bonus Experience:

• Experience supporting technical teams (engineering, data, UX, or product)

• A background in event management, learning/teaching, or marketing/communications

• Experience with learning technology and learning platforms

• Prior experience successfully working in a remote or distributed environment
