EOS+ Extensibility Engineer

Arista Networks is seeking candidates to join the EOS+ Software Services team.  The EOS+ Software Services team is a global team of software engineers working within Professional Services to deliver high quality and robust software to help Arista's customers achieve their goals and solve real-life networking problems.  The team's work can be divided into four main areas: 

• Automation and testing: Using the latest automation techniques and tools
• Cloud services: Implementing scalable, flexible and cloud agnostic solutions for internal and external customers
• CloudVision applications: Building applications that leverage telemetry and CloudVision's open architecture
• EOS extensions: Exploiting EOS' extensibility to write software that runs directly on Arista switches

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from a four-year college or university or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3 - 10 years of software development, networks and systems administration, or consulting experience with a focus on the development 
• Background in Linux, Unix, and Python 
• Working experience with Network technologies 
• Experience building third party software integration and API’s 
• Release engineering skills (pip, rpm, deb, rvm) 
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodology 
• Excellent customer service and written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with CI platforms (Jenkins, Gitlab, Kubernetes) a plus 
• Knowledge of C/C++ and/or Golang a plus 
• Familiarity with DevOps and automation frameworks and API’s (Ansible, Teraform) a plus
• Familiarity with Cloud providers like AWS, GCP, and Azure a plus.
