Job Description

The OCM Consultant is responsible for supporting the development of strategies, and developing communications, engagement plans, and products to guide our clients and their workforces through changes and transformational initiatives. These strategies, plans, and deliverables support successful deployment of new initiatives, processes and technologies, and are designed to drive adoption and deliver a positive change experience for the workforce. Consultants collaborate with colleagues, clients, partners and project teams to ensure overall program success.

Responsibilities & Activities

  • Organizational Change Management

    • Assess and identify change impacts to develop actionable impact analyses and message maps for each persona

    • Assess and identify change readiness across personas and stakeholder groups to shape strategies, tactics and messaging

    • Support the development of strategic change plans that include communications and engagement activities

    • Develop messages and content that have impact across diverse stakeholder groups

    • Collaborate with the project team to support the identification ofl success metrics and plans to address resistance and reinforce change

    • Educate clients on change management practices using Leapgen’s Digital Change Experience methodology, Prosci and other industry methodologies, blended with Leapgen’s human-centered design approach

    • Partner with Leapgen Workforce Experience (WX) Designers to listen to customers and contribute to design deliverables using Leapgen’s human-centered design approach

  • Customer Partnership

    • Work closely with clients to develop a strong understanding of the company’s corporate/HR culture, operating strengths and opportunities

    • Support the development of change strategies and collaborate with clients and colleagues to win buy-in for Leapgen recommendations for improving HR processes and systems that complement and support business goals

    • Develop client relationships that are strong and lasting

    • Play a supporting  role in client program governance

  • Team Collaboration & Education

    • Work with WX, UX and graphic designers, customers and implementation partners to inform the design of customer solutions using outputs from experience design

    • Educate clients on best practices in change management

    • Contribute to Leapgen's industry thought leadership in collaboration with Marketing peers

    • Collaborate with Sales to develop new customer relationships

Qualifications

Abilities

  • Proven ability to lead and do (please see responsibilities & activities above!) in order to deliver customer valued outcomes

  • Team player with proven ability to collaborate with, educate and influence others

  • Ability to collaborate with multiple clients simultaneously, work with remote teams, think creatively, manage own time and take initiative to drive projects

  • Ability to modulate communication styles to effectively collaborate with colleagues, clients and partners

  • Resilient and persistent in the face of shifting priorities and timelines

  • Some project management experience preferred

 Experience

  • 2-5 years experience in developing change strategies and driving change initiatives and change adoption using various change methodologies

  • 2-5 years experience in HR, HR Technology, Organizational Change Management, and/or HR Strategy

  • Proven experience supporting change and change adoption

Knowledge & Education

  • Strong interpersonal skills, customer-centric attitude

  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal), including ability to deliver compelling client presentations

  • Basic understanding of Digital Workforce Transformation and various aspects of HR functions and processes (e.g., talent acquisition, employee lifecycle management, service delivery, career growth & development)

  • Understanding of change methodologies such as Prosci (ADKAR), the Change Curve or Bridges Transition Model

  • Understanding of how mindset, people, and process impact the way technology enables experience and the importance of designing for the workforce experience

  • Strong understanding of cloud concepts and technologies

  • Any of the following are plus:

    • Bachelor’s degree 

    • Graphic design and/or design thinking studies or certificate 

    • Change Management certification in Prosci ADKAR model or other change methodology

  • Remote (continental US)

  • Travel up to 30% (once Covid lifts)
