Marketing Manager

This Marketing Manager position is for One Brand Marketing, a Vericast business, that is an emerging leader in postcard marketing software and direct mail solutions that help thousands of businesses grow. The Marketing Manager is responsible for creating demand for OBM software and direct mail products. To be successful in the role, the candidate must be comfortable with developing repeatable and scalable marketing campaigns that drive sales. OBM is looking for a leader who can take charge of marketing and build collaborative relationships across the organization while driving business results.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan and maintain marketing objectives and present to leadership quarterly initiatives for individual brands, products, and industries.  Update leadership monthly on ongoing program status and goal metrics as well as forecast lead inflow based on historical data to staff inbound sales organization appropriately.
• Drives traffic and qualified leads to our sales organization. Work with sales organization to calculate, monitor, and understand quality metrics such as ARPC, CPL, ROAS, CPA, AOV, CLTV, and conversion rates.
• Interface with SEM Partners regarding the oversight and management of $1mm+ SEM budget. 
• Leverage Salesforce, Marketo, Google Analytics and other platforms in order to develop, execute, and monitor complex marketing campaigns.
• Maintain content marketing calendar by brand, product and industry. Establish cadence of content creation that includes blog posts, whitepapers, training materials, and sales collateral. 
• Develop a high-level understanding of current brand positioning and competitiveness.  Continually research competition and market for changes in offerings. 

• Bachelor's Degree (Preferred); In lieu of the education requirements, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• 1 - 2 years Marketing role in a rapidly growing startup or other demand generation roles that have a mix of crunching data and strategic thinking. 
• 2-5 years combined demand generation and product marketing experience delivering highly successful and scalable solutions and engagement strategies.
• 3+ years’ experience in managing political marketing campaigns and working with agencies to deliver high-quality results through direct mail is strongly preferred.
• Ability to maintain a nonpartisan mindset at all times, with the ability to work with groups across the political spectrum.
• This position requires an experienced project leader who is able to collaborate with all levels of internal and external clients, adhere to deadlines, and achieve successful outcomes.
• Passion for marketing technology, with a track record of using software and online tools in innovative ways.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Subject matter experience in regards to growing and/or monetizing digital products at scale.
• Up to date with best practices and execution in paid search engine marketing, content marketing, demand generation and digital marketing campaigns.
•  A professional at test-and-learn growth hacking: Must possess ability to run and iterate on highly effective automated marketing campaigns.
• Take full ownership and accountability over projects and outcomes.
• Very strong written communication and storytelling skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.

SOFTWARE UTILIZED

• Google Analytics, Marketing Automation, SalesForce Administration, Wordpress, HTML. Comfortable with organizing, managing and querying large amounts of data in excel, but experience with a business intelligence tool or SQL is preferred.

COMMUNICATION AND CONTACTS
