Are you interested in being part of building the web UI for the service that is unique to the tastes of our 10+ million users? We are looking for experienced Frontend or Fullstack Engineers to join our engineering teams in the Consumer Group. In one of our teams, you’d be contributing to the development of our consumer-facing wolt.com website with a particular mission. We strive to always use some of the most robust yet up-to-date technologies and tools, which allow us to continuously benefit from the latest features in our tech ecosystems. If you are a TypeScript lover with React in your toolkit, possibly handle Python as well and would like to be surrounded by like-minded people, we have a lot to offer. 

The teams looking for you are:  

• The Consumer Search team, focusing on developing venue & item search for our consumers. This team is all about experimenting, testing and fine-tuning our complex search feature, including filtering and sorting, relevancy scoring, as well as taking care of the end-to-end consumer search architecture to create the best possible search experience for our customers.

• The Growth & Marketing team, driving our growth by developing our consumer-facing applications (iOS, Android, and Web) with data driven experiments and promotion related features

• The Content & Personalisation team, responsible for “Your Wolt” -experience by researching, developing methods and machine learning models for selecting and presenting the most relevant content to the customers based on their personal preferences at any given time, at any given place.

The teams are currently based in Helsinki HQ and Berlin offices. We welcome both on-site & remote new members from Finland, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, or Estonia! Note that we only have relocation support for Helsinki & Berlin for the time being. 🌍

We use modern Typescript and React in the Frontend and are looking for someone with at least several years of prior experience working with them. On the backend side, we work mostly with Python. We prioritise frontend skills so please don't hesitate to apply even if you want to focus purely on frontend. In addition to technical skills, we are looking for engineers who have an eye for design and want to provide blissful user experience.

The compensation will be a negotiable combination of monthly pay and Wolt stock options. The latter make it exceptionally easy to be excited about our company growing and doing well, as you'll own a piece of the pie.
