To build and maintain efficient solutions for Experian systems. The position is focussed on cutting edge technologies working at a fast pace, continuously looking at improving and implementing relevant technologies with a big drive towards automation, Big Data and efficient process management. Current technologies used Azure Synapse, Apache Airflow, Spark, Python, EDB, Cassandra etc. The successful candidate will be expected to drive their solution end to end and to deliver high quality products. Innovation is intrinsic in the department.
The role requires one to participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle and coach developers. Create high-quality products that meet client needs and align with company strategy. This is a back-end development role which focuses more on data ingestion and distribution.
Development: To develop processes and components that provides the necessary data management and reporting outcomes to support various business units in their data requirements and operations, by providing the right information, in the right format at the right time to the right persons.
Customer Service: To ensure that Core Data Services maintains a competitive edge with regards to service levels and to know and satisfy customer needs by implementing the required Policies, Procedures, and industry best practices. Also, to create innovative products that provides meaningful business solutions.
Management support: To assist key stakeholders by performing the necessary tasks and providing the necessary insights and communications on an ad-hoc and recurring basis in to ensure optimal company performance and revenue, improved sales conversations and industry benchmarking and performance.
Project Management & Administration: To provide the correct outputs, on time, with the necessary documentation.
Research & Development / Innovation: Continuously looking forward, improving current environments and ensure we do not stagnate with either operational or technical workflows. Be a positive force for driving the correct change, maintaining direction in line with group strategies.
Mentoring: Positive influence on team members. Must lead by example, ensuring policies and procedure are cemented and technical skills of team is kept up to date and relevant. Approachable and knowledgeable about various industries and solutions
