We are looking for an HR Business Partner to work with our Digital division.  As the HR Business Partner you will be both strategic and hands-on providing full cycle support thru strong consulting advice and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement.  You will be an employee champion, a change agent and a trusted advisor to leaders on organizational design, career development, employee relations, performance management, and compensation.   Your approach to work will be aligned with the Agile methods used by the business team.

What you'll be doing:

  • Collaborate and work proactively with leaders to execute people centered initiatives focused on organizational health and engagement at all levels within assigned groups
  • Provide HR advice and counsel 
  • Work with your recruitment peers to attract strong talent to Central 1 including articulating the roles and skills needed and from time to time take on direct recruitment for specific roles
  • Develop and implement programs focused on retention, compensation, performance management.
  • Partner with business leaders to evolve the organizational structure to continually meet the needs of internal and external clients
  • Increase role clarity and accountability thru developing job description, success profiles, and career paths
  • Act as a positive change agent for implementation of new initiatives.
  • When needed, act as the project manager for key initiatives to meet the department objectives.

Qualifications

What you'll have:

  • The ability to understand business goals and recommend new approaches to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity and development of HR within the company.
  • A true hands-on approach as well as the ability to successfully monitor the "pulse" of the employees to ensure a high level of employee engagement.
  • Experience with rapid and complex changing work environment.
  • Coaching and mentoring at all management levels.
  • Success in creating and driving effective development, employee relations, retention and reward programs.
  • Being an enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment.
  • The ability to think big but also not be afraid to "roll up your sleeves."
  • A strong solutions focus and be comfortable working in an environment which demands strong deliverables along with the ability to identify problems and drive appropriate solutions
  • Strong internal and external customer service focus.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, have a bias for action - orientated on results.
  • Must be able to interface at all levels of the organization.
  • Passion for innovative HR solutions and process improvement
  • Ability to handle challenging situations with diplomacy and confidentiality.
  • Experience and specific knowledge of organizational design, job evaluation and career mapping as well as other areas of human resource theory and employee relations
  • Terms like DevOps, Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Design thinking not only make sense, but make you excited
  • Understanding that agile isn't as much of a process as a mindset.
