We are looking for a Senior Security Engineer to help build, monitor, and maintain our security infrastructure and drive security processes across the company. In this role, you would have the opportunity to work with multiple teams in our organization to promote better security practices. As a Senior Security Engineer with Purpose Advisor Solutions, you will be a part of an agile development team, taking part in initiatives from conception to post-production. Responsibilities:

• Identifying new security threats by conducting continual monitoring, security testing, vulnerability assessments, and log analysis.
• Lead the efforts to maintain our infrastructure security.
• Conduct security reviews for new products, technologies, and services.
• Provide security expertise and guidance.
• Respond to security incidents and potential attacks.
• Drive security policies including incident response, risk management, vulnerability management, data protection.
• Work with stakeholders, product managers, and engineers to achieve a high bar for security.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud security or information security.
• Experience in one or more general-purpose languages like Python.
• Knowledge of secure coding best practices and industry standards (such as OWASP) and the ability to apply them to different programming languages.
• Demonstrated technical experience across two or more security disciplines, including application security, intrusion detection and response, network security, infrastructure security, and system engineering.
• Experience with attack and mitigation methods, web and application security, penetration testing and code vulnerabilities, security monitoring, and intrusion detection.

Nice to Haves:

• Experience in financial services/ wealth management.
• Industry-standard security certifications like CISSP, CISA, CEH, etc. are a plus.
• Experience with Docker is a plus.
