Job Description

The purpose of a Content Strategist is to develop a strategy for promoting Mandiant stories. This role will collaborate with the campaign execution team to build content strategies built on compelling storytelling components that address our audiences pain points and drive demand for Mandiant products and services. You will align the organization’s editorial voice into all demand content assets while guiding the optimization of user journeys for campaigns.

What You Will Do: 

  • Develops content strategies. Sourcing inputs from throughout the organization, the Content Strategist collaborates with the campaigns team to develop stories that will resonate and be delivered through multiples channels and platforms. The content leader must drive corporate priorities and amplify the company’s stories and key themes in the market. 
  • Creates content plans. Working with cross functional teams, the Digital Content Strategist establishes and articulates the organization’s internal and external key messages and ensures that content plans address the entire marketing and sales funnel from awareness through to purchase. This includes SEO/UX consideration for maximum digital engagement.
    • Designs digital creative approach. As part of the Content Brief, the Digital Content Strategist will specify how the content is to be designed and represented digitally.
  • Architects activation plans. The Content Strategist is familiar with traditional and digital marketing channels, content marketing, distribution platforms, and B2B marketing analytics. They also work with editors, writers, UX designers, content management system developers, and marketers to deliver stories that are aligned with business goals.
  • Reports on campaign performance. The Content Strategist is responsible for understanding campaign and team KPIs, aligning strategies to achieve them, collaborates with the rest of the team to publish goals/KPIs, and makes adjustments to the plan as necessary to improve metrics.

 

Qualifications

  • 10-15 years of content writing and campaign strategy
  • Technology industry experience - cyber security understanding preferred 
  • Digital marketing experience, either as a leader or contributor
  • Strong writing skills with examples
  • Familiarity with Search Engine Marketing and Optimization strategies
  • Basic knowledge of Office 365
  • Experience in Adobe Experience Manager is a plus (not required)
  • Positive, optimistic approach to creative problem solving
  • Experience with SaaS Software or the Tech Industry is a plus
  • Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a group or independently
  • Detail oriented

Minimum Salary: $102,800 Final salary will be determined commensurately with cost of living, experience level, and/or any other legally permissible considerations.

Incentive Compensation: Eligibility for annual bonus subject to individual and company performance; eligibility for award of Restricted Stock Units subject to eligibility requirements, approval from FireEye’s Compensation Committee, and vesting terms
