Job Description

The Certification Program Manager will lead SME content development efforts, and ongoing strategy for exam development and growth in the marketplace. This will include maintaining a set of certification exams supporting the validation of skills and knowledge of professionals and partners related to Mandiant services and capabilities. This role will manage Mandiant Certification Program communications to internal and external stakeholders, including exam takers, certificates, customers, partners, and internal management. Additionally, this role will have operational responsibility for the program from end to end, especially relating to compliance. 

What You Will Do:

Exam Management: 

  • Team with Mandiant Education Services Leadership to design and grow valuable programs 
  • Manage exam development project schedules and communicate internally/externally
  • Work closely with Curriculum Development staff to align Certification Program with Education Services Goals
  • Manage the exam maintenance efforts collaborating across Mandiant Business Units and within Education Services
  • Author content and lead the exam development process, beta testing, validation, and successful exam launch

Curriculum Portfolio Management:

  • Write or edit all certification marketing materials, from announcements to website descriptions Support internal enablement teams in use of Mandiant Certification
  • Coordinate communication with marketing, regional managers, partner programs and other stakeholders 
  • Support certificants in exam prep strategies 

Compliance/Operations:

  • Manage Certification Program governing legal documents (Policy, Testtaker Agreement) with Education Services Leadership input
  • Create executive dashboard to analyze and report on certification results, certificant population, and exam statistics
  • Track and manage certification program revenue and expenses 
  • Ensure high quality exam content 

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5+ years program or project management experience 
  • Advanced skills analyzing statistical and business data
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and comfortable presenting in large groups including senior management 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in certification/assessment/technical learning content development management 
  • Experience facilitating and leading exam development workshops, remote development, and working with SMEs internationally
  • Cyber Operations, Incident Response and Intelligence knowledge highly desirable 
  • Strong understanding of learning taxonomies and instructional design principles 
  • Psychometric analysis experience related to certification program launch and maintenance
  • Experience with either programming/technical skills, or business process software will be helpful

Minimum Salary: $60,000. Final salary will be determined commensurately with cost of living, experience level, and/or any other legally permissible considerations. 

Incentive Compensation: Eligibility for annual bonus subject to individual and company performance; eligibility for award of Restricted Stock Units subject to eligibility requirements, approval from FireEye’s Compensation Committee, and vesting terms
