Job Description

The Senior Director Product Management will be an important member of the Oncology marketing organization who will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of marketing strategy and tactics for the  team that promotes Guardant Health’s comprehensive genomic profiling services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for leveraging Guardant360 resources to create messaging and content to support engagement of Oncology customers
  • Drive the development of Guardant Oncology brand strategy and tactical marketing plans
  • Implement and execute  promotional materials across the team. Activities include lead generation, webinars, conferences, and customer materials
  • Act as the bridge with the Commercial Sales and Marketing organization to support scoping, planning and implementation of Companion Diagnostic commercialization
  • Work cross-functionally with  Business Development, Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs and Product Team to grow the brand

 

Skills/Experience

  • 5+ years of brand marketing experience with  Oncology company necessary.
  • Demonstrated track record of achievement and of influencing business outcomes across diverse functional boundaries, even without direct reporting relationships
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and comfortable with blue-sky strategy or detailed tactical implementation. You move comfortably from pitching to senior leaders to outlining a brand awareness program to developing new messaging and marketing resources.
  • Superior communication skills
  • You are both scrappy and organized.
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team-based environment and partner with external/internal stakeholders
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills that translate to effective tactics and strategy
  • Ability to quickly identify insights and develop effective strategies & tactics based on these insights
  • Advanced degree preferred (Ph.D, MBA) 

Additional Information

Employee may be required to lift routine office supplies and use office equipment.  Majority of the work is performed in a desk/office environment; however, there may be exposure to high noise levels, fumes, and biohazard material in the laboratory environment.  Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
