Postal.io is looking for an innovative, driven, and detail oriented professional to join our team as a UX Designer. This is an incredible opportunity to join a rapidly scaling startup and make a significant impact. As a UX Designer, you will create a satisfying user experience by measuring and optimizing applications.
This role will be crucial in helping Postal ensure we are consistently building a product that meets and exceeds user expectations.
Responsibilities
Create user-centered designs by considering market analysis, customer feedback, site metrics and usability findings
Understand product specifications and user psychology to predict what might work for both
Identify target user groups and conduct interviews or other types of inquiry to help understand user needs
Ensure the creation and implementation of customized experiences for the user
Anticipate user needs to improve user experience
Deliver high-quality design solutions
Have a strong empathy and understanding of user needs
Be aware of surrounding product context. Maintain a competitive edge against competitor products and industry trends
Mockup and prototype testing. Perform tests on user interface elements such as layouts, target links, landing pages and banners
Collaborate across departments ensuring overall project continuity and consensus on designs
4 year degree in a relevant field preferred
3-5 years experience, preferably with SaaS B2B applications.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Upbeat and positive demeanor
Strong attention to detail and mastery of information design
Problem-solving skills to determine solutions to user interface challenges
A driven self-starter with strong project management skills
Flexible and adaptable to change
Ability to produce high-quality solutions through flow diagrams, graphic design, storyboards and site maps.
Proficiency in tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and InVision.
