Postal.io is looking for a talented, detail oriented, and creative marketing professional to join our team as a Marketing Designer. This is an incredible opportunity to join a nimble, fast paced startup and make a significant impact. As a Marketing Designer you will play a key role in social media, website and content creation, graphic design, and related marketing and promotional responsibilities. An ideal candidate will be self-motivated, decisive, and goals driven.
Responsibilities
Make design choices for all content the company will use
Work closely with other creative team members to produce content
Create guidelines for how logos and other branding materials should be displayed and used
Build inspiring visual assets that are on brand and adhere to our product and marketing design principles
Address feedback to refine concepts
Communicate rational behind design choices
Own design and production responsibilities on projects from beginning design concepts to finalizing end product
Proactively ensure that all current and future creative is cohesive and consistent with the company’s brand direction
Coordinate on multiple projects simultaneously
4 year degree in a relevant field preferred
3-5 years experience, preferably with SaaS B2B applications.
Upbeat and positive demeanor
A compelling portfolio with projects showcasing skills that are relevant to your business’s visual content goals
Mastery of industry-standard software including Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma, and Google slides
Flexible and adaptive to change in a highly dynamic work environment
Outstanding written and verbal communication, presentation, and time management skills
Strong attention to detail
A design mind with strategic intent
Understanding of visual design principles such as white space, typography/kerning, color theory, and positioning
