It all started with an idea at Square in 2013. Initially built to take the pain out of peer-to-peer payments, Cash App has gone from a simple product with a single purpose to a dynamic app, bringing a better way to send, spend, invest, and save to our millions of monthly active users. We want to make the world’s relationship with money more relatable, instantly available, and universally accessible. This is our mission, and it’s why working at Cash App means so much more than a job.
Today, Cash App has thousands of employees working globally across office and remote locations, with a culture geared toward creativity, collaboration and impact. We’ve been a distributed team since day one, and we’ve got offices and remote teammates across the globe. Our offices are great, but many of our roles can be done remotely from the countries where Cash App operates. No matter the location, we tailor our experience to ensure our employees are creative, productive, and happy.

We’re looking for an organized and creative Recruiting Coordinator to support hiring logistics and own projects of impact to our candidate and interviewer experience.
You will:
Be a candidate advocate. As one of the first faces and names that candidates see, you’ll ensure they feel welcome, delighted, informed and taken care of. Use candidate feedback to develop new ways of delivering a candidate experience like no other. It’ll be your job to infuse the candidate experience with the Cash Story, so it’s important that you live and breathe the product too.
Be a master of logistics. You’ll manage all coordination of interviews virtually and onsite. It’ll often be across time zones, involve candidate travel, and require fast turnaround. You’ll know be an expert of the process, and regularly offer ideas on how to streamline it.
Own city-specific initiatives. Our RC team is fully distributed, so you will be the one to manage our partnership with local teams - everything from office experience, to IT, to interviewers. You’ll make sure the office setup is delightful for candidates, logistically sound for interviewers, and infused with both the Cash brand and local culture. You’ll support the local hiring teams as needs present themselves, including interviewer training coordination, office hours for tooling questions, and interview space design.
Collaborate on universal initiatives. This includes items that work well for the full Cash RC team (i.e. operational efficiencies, RC onboarding), as well as projects in collaboration with our partnerships around the company (i.e. new hire orientation, branding).
Have a high comfort level with ambiguity. As a part of our ecosystem of startups, Cash continues to evolve and reinvent, so details and processes change as a part of this. Be go-with-the flow, but also, partner to solidify details as a part of this. Be vocal with what works, what slows down hiring from the RC perspective, or any other changes you’re eager to take the initiative to fine-tune.
You have:
A human-centric approach to your work. You want to be a resource for candidates, recruiters, and hiring teams. You put your feet in the shoes of both the candidates and the interviewers to think of everything that can be helpful.
Outstanding time management skills. You can crank on scheduling requests without missing any of the nitty-gritty details that come into play. As fires arise, you know how to manage competing priorities while staying as cool as a cucumber!
A mind geared toward creative solutions. You approach problems by getting to the root of it and proposing outside-the-box ideas to solve for them.
Extraordinary verbal and written communication skills. When you need to think on your feet and move fast, you can do so through being clear, concise, and friendly. You also use these skills when aiding creative projects to enhance candidate and interviewer experience.
Incredible drive. You enjoy autonomy, ownership, collaboration, and wearing many hats - whatever it takes to get things done.
At least 1 year of coordination experience. This can be outside of recruiting (i.e. administrative, events, office).
