The Square Seller business provides products and services that helps sellers start, run, and grow their businesses and participate in the economy. The foundation of our offerings is a full service, managed payments offering and extends to include point-of-sale software and services that help sellers make informed business decisions on their orders, inventory, locations, employees, and customers. We have grown rapidly to serve millions of sellers that represent a diverse set of industries and sizes, and span geographies including the United States, Canada, Japan, Australia, and the United Kingdom.
Much in the same way that Square revolutionized basic payment processing, Square’s Vertical POS products are disrupting the payments and workflow systems that power more-sophisticated businesses. Our Vertical POS products are disrupting legacy on-premise solutions by providing a one-stop-shop for our sellers to both take payments and run their business, in-person and online. Today we serve restaurants, retailers and those who sell their time, and we are building a remarkable suite of products that owners can trust to serve their specialized needs, so that they can get back to focusing on what is most important: growing their business.
We are looking for an Analyst to join the Finance & Strategy team that supports Vertical POS products, which includes Square for Restaurants, Square for Retail and Square Appointments. The second role will be focusing on Square Capital. The Vertical POS teams are a fast-growing group of products that are quickly becoming an integral part of Square’s Seller business identity. You will play a critical role partnering directly with product business partners on key elements of strategic decision making, forecasting and monitoring business performance. Report and analyze business results and communicate key takeaways to senior stakeholders, including identifying opportunities or risks.
Manage headcount and operating expense budget processes to ensure investment allocation and resources are in alignment with Square’s strategic priorities.
